"We had a terrible experience with the recital. I signed up my 6 year-old daughter for ballet and her class’s recital performance (that she had been practicing all season) was not until 10:05pm the night of the recital. That is nearly 2 hours after her bed time!! All of the family there to see her (including her younger brother who was extremely exhausted by that point) was really too tired to enjoy it. I think it is just cruel to make 6-year olds wait until 10pm to perform."
