Reviews
"It's a dump with a very disrespectful landlord, but the main person above her was very considerate and swear. Just wish she had ran the west central apartments."
"The Brazil Housing Authority has been Amazingly Kind and Professional in Assisting me with every aspect of my transfer and residency in Clay County. They have gone out of their way to collect Accurate Information in a very timely manner. They have worked hard to ensure my rights reaching out to other County and State Agencies. I greatly Appreciate their Kindness and Professionalism over the Last 4 years. I Thank you! Much Respect Section 8 Recipient Angela Wilson"
"I'm not sure about the bad reviews here, but I've had an extremely pleasant experience. The apartments are nice for public housing standards (moved from Columbus, OH), the staff has been nothing but friendly and the neighbors have been good. Not to mention the location is great, you're right by everything you need except maybe Walmart. When applying, I was contacted in a relatively timely manner. I enjoy living here and don't have plans to move for awhile."
"A dear friend from Brazil originally, moved back home before she passed away. Walking into the bldg that houses the office I was astounded at the cleanliness and the very nice manner in which the lobby was furnished. I met some members of the staff and they were pleasant and helpful. We live in Indpls right now. But, we are planning to apply for housing in Brazil sometime this week. Hopefully, we'll be accepted and moved in within a few months. If you want a "quality" subsidized place to live and are tired of the way you live now, as we are, then come here and get back into an envoirment that's safe and a place you can be proud to live in."
"As long as you are polite and looking to get housing while in a rough spot, the small staff is able to do so. I did find them rather impersonal and distant. They are limited in what the can do, but that is not their fault. Overall, they do what they are there for, but their day to day attitudes could use a major lift."
