"I am definitely not one to ever leave a review, but I feel that I would be doing a disservice to the community by not informing others of my experience here. First, one particular maintenance man made me feel extremely uncomfortable; asking where my boyfriend was at, taking my dogs leash out of my hand while I was taking him on a walk and walking my dog into his apartment, telling me I remind him of his ex, etc. So, my boyfriend emails the staff and I assume what happened was that he got a slap on the wrist because he continued to work there after. Then, after this incident we get an email saying we need to pay for our dog to be there while we were in the middle of getting him registered to be an emotional support dog as my dad had just been diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. I had talked to Nichole about this and she showed no empathy and was extremely rude about the situation and basically told me too bad, and that he had to be paid for immediately, even after I pointed out on the lease that it never explicitly had a timeframe that a dog had to be registered as an emotional support animal. We felt very singled out in this community and I would never recommend living here."
"I just moved into Westridge Flats two months ago, and so far I love it! The community is extremely safe and they try to do programming for residents at least a couple of times a month. Maintenance is quick to fix things and the staff has been so helpful and friendly. There’s a dog park and plenty of bag stations for pet waste. There are fire pits and other spaces for community gatherings. The only issue so far is that there is less storage space than I’m used to, but roommate and I have alleviated this with shelving, so it hasn’t been a problem at al!"
"The apartments are really nice, they have fire pits that have been so fun to use in the summer. But I do have a little bit of criticism, the walls are VERY thin but that has given me the opportunity to hear my neighbors lovely voice sing Flowers by Miley Cyrus. The floor plans are very spacious which is nice, but those air conditioning units really suck if you have a couch that sits more than 2 people. That did also give us the opportunity to be creative on how to arrange our furniture. Parking is free which is GREAT because we have two cars. They also have a dog park which we really like because we have a(the cutest) dog. We have only lived here for a couple months but so far we like it."
"Quality apartments! Me and two roommate have been here for over a year now, and have no complaints. Some reviews have mentioned how easy it is to hear next door neighbors, but we have not had this issue. Our 3bed, 2 bath apartment gives plenty of space in the common areas, but we wish the kitchen had a little more storage space or drawers. This is true for the laundry room area too which has no storage for detergent and the like. The kitchen and bathroom counters are beautiful and the flooring is high quality and durable. We were the first into our apartment and so the carpet was super fresh and soft, and 1 year in has held up very well. The staff has always been very friendly and knowledgeable, and maintenance gets to stuff very quickly. So far we've only had a few issues with the kitchen drain a few months back, as well as the bathroom door, but the team has fixed our issues in a very timely manner. We have had no issues since. The thing I feel is most lacking is the landscape, as there are no true grassy areas, it is very patchy grass because of the clay dirt. As a pet owner, having a nice grass area to play with my dog would be nice. There is a fenced in dog park, but it is very small and slanted on a hill with many trees planted in the space that get in the way. A volleyball court or pool would help make the amenity fee worth it, as the gym provided is enough to stay fit but not really lift weights seriously. So for me, the firepits are the only amenity I actually use. Still, would definitely recommend the apartments as a quality living space with good staff. The amenities aren’t as significant as other places, but it’s a high quality place that I will be staying at for the duration of my time in IN."
"It is a shame because I loved living here. It was so clean and brand new. Everything went smooth until we moved out and got our security deposit back. They charged us $644 for "carpet damages" in both bedrooms. I attached the "damaged carpet" photos below. I was so frustrated when we were talking to Nichole because she did not answer any of our questions about why we got charged. A simple carpet cleaning would have been sufficient. Not ripping up both rooms of carpet. Two of the pictures was where we WALKED in the bedroom to get to the bathroom. How are you going to charge us for where we walked? When we called upper management because we got no where with Nichole, they never called us back. Please be careful when you move out of your apartment if you currently live here. They will try to do the same thing to you. Such scammers."
