Reviews of ATI Physical Therapy
"Had a bad accident and broke my leg. I couldn’t walk for months after surgery. I was having a very hard time mentally and physically. Everyone that works here is so kind and patient. They definitely made my bad situation better and I’m incredibly grateful. Now I’m walking again and back to work. I have this whole team to thank. It was not an easy road to get here but I’m here because of them that’s for sure."
"Renata and Missy have helped me gain flexibility already with just the initial evaluation and two more sessions. I was able to schedule continuous sessions of two each week from January 8 through February 14th. They are very thorough and helpful in my therapy. I am over five months out from my knee replacement and three months from my manipulation procedure all done without much progress. I’m thrilled to finally have a team that is moving me forward to regain my mobility! Thanks!"
""we take accusations like very seriously around here" in response to me saying "the last session we had reinjured my wrist." It's an accusation? "That'll be all" with the wave of the hand shoo-ing me out, turned away from me, dismissing anything I might be concerned about. Like I was a nuisance and should definitely never give feedback. This was the last session. I think the experience was way worse because the OT gave me false hope from the beginning. He was arrogant about his abilities and knowledge and knew I had an unsuccessful history of trying to get this issue addressed. He sees too many patients at once to actually be invested in your individual circumstances, and he is too arrogant to spend time asking questions about your specific healing experience. Being blind-sided to end services unless I saw a doctor (done several times over 5 years) because I was giving feedback was like having a rug pulled out. His bedside manner is horrible and he does not appear to care anything about your personal experience. Part of the problem is how ATI sets up OT appointments. Most of the problem was the particular individual I was working with."
"I’ve had a great experience so far. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. All of my therapy sessions have been great. Would definitely recommend this location to anyone!"
"I have had three sessions so far at the Valparaiso location. I have nine more to go. The therapists seem very competent. They listen and are always asking am I OK? The goal is to make me better, not worse with straining too much. That I can appreciate. The sheets that they gave me for the home exercises are also very good. So far, I have not had the same therapist for my first three visits. ATI's therapists seem to be somewhat disorganized, or simply short of staff. Most of the time they are helping multiple patients during the same slot. To me, it seems quite chaotic during the session, which adds a lot of weight time in between exercises. Perhaps this is the way all PTs work. This is my first time doing PT. I have started late two out of three times. They did make it up by allowing me the full alloted time, but it still doesn't make up for the constant interruptions. I will revisit this evaluation when I complete my PT. Hopefully, my experience will turn out much better than the way it has begun."
