"Attempted to apply to this location and was very disappointed at the initial customer service. I partially completed the application online because they began to ask very detailed questions. I had not yet viewed the unit or the grounds yet. Per the leasing agent there is a $150.00 application fee. Makes sense to see the grounds and unit before I give away $150.00. When I asked if a unit would be available to view as indicated on their site the response was the unit will be rented already and I need to complete the application. Yikes and no thank you. When I called back for a manager no one answered."

"Been living here now for about four years And looking to make it five. The staff has been great as far as I’m concerned. I’ve had a couple problems in my unit and both Jenny and Joyce have been helpful in getting maintenance out to fix the issues. The location is great, and it’s an area where I feel safe. I’ve read the other reviews and I’ve not had the problems that past tenants I’ve had. Definitely love this apartment!"

"I’ve been living here for a year, and everybody had been very nice to us. The areas are always clean. The maintenance staff are very nice and they show up within 48hrs of your request. The only bad thing is the train but we got used to lol."

"I lived at Barberry for two years and loved it. There is a pool which is awesome in the summer and apartments are spacious for price. It’s in a convenient location and nice area. I haven’t had any problems. Landlord is nice and so are maintenance staff. They have always helped me and answered my questions."

"The apartment was pretty nice and the neighborhood was excellent. I would definitely recommend if you have children as there are parks and schools in walking distance and it’s a quiet, safe area. They kept the pool area very clean but were really strict on hours and pool visiting restrictions which were kind of annoying. They also started doing construction on the balcony above ours with no warning, they moved all of our patio furniture without permission, my outdoor plants got covered in concrete dust, and I worked nights at the time so they ALWAYS woke me up with the construction. We also had someone from the complex come into our apartment unannounced, I believe they thought we weren’t home but we were and they came right in. The woman that worked the front office, Joyce, was amazing! We loved her. So sweet, helpful and friendly. I’m not sure what the maintenance guy’s name was but he was awesome too, very friendly, good at his job, and fast. Jenny, who I believe was the property manager, was a little rude and short with us on several occasions. Overall it was a pretty good experience, we just had a few random issues that probably don’t occur too often."
