"My husband and I had a wonderful getaway at The Fort Escape. It is such a unique, fun, and relaxing place. The host was great -- all the special touches make a unique experience that much better. The fort is in a beautiful wooded setting. We really enjoyed visiting all the animals on the farm and getting to feed some of them. The bedroom was very comfortable and it was nice having real bathrooms. The outdoor shower was great. We enjoyed the scavenger hunt and the games provided. My husband enjoyed making several fires which were nice as the night did get a bit chilly even in June. All the fire supplies were provided which was really convenient. We cooked breakfast on the grill using the pans and utensils from the fully stocked kitchen. I loved relaxing in the hammock chairs. We ventured out from the Fort to enjoy shops and restaurants in Nashville, Indiana and Brown County State Park. I highly recommend Brozinni's Pizza in Nashville, Indiana. Our host recommended Mis Dos Abuelos and Crowbar Inn Restaurant which were both close by - they were both great restaurants."

"My wife and just spent two days there and it was incredible! Nothing like having your own fort! Best way to glamp! Too many things to talk about but some highlights: cooking over a fire with cast iron, complimentary bottle of wine, a fun little scavenger hunt, many different animals you can feed (they have kangaroos and ostriches!), and the beautiful location! Perfect for birding. The owner was very nice and accommodating. Would highly recommend!"

"An enthusiastic 5-star review for The Fort Escape! If I could give more stars I absolutely would. My husband and I visited over 3 nights in early May -- the weather was perfect and we couldn't have had a more enjoyable time. The fort is so unique and magical - we were in awe of every detail. Marcus was an incredible host, and had thought of absolutely everything. Do not hesitate to book this place. The pictures look amazing, but it's even better in person. We had many fires, cooked in the cowboy kitchen, enjoyed the outdoor tub and shower and of course, had some drinks in the saloon :) If you're concerned about being off the grid, don't be -- campers will find this to be a deluxe clamping-style experience and those used to an AirBnb will be pleased with running water, flushing toilets, and lights. All in all, it was peaceful and private - with a surprise and delight around every corner. Will stay again!"

"Unique place in small town USA. The decor in this place is fantastic! The Tom Sawyer bedroom is so cool down to the "grass" floor. There's a bath outside that's period perfect. It even has its own saloon. Never thought I'd mention how cool a bathroom is, but wait until you see it. There are even kangaroos and ostriches on the property. This is a great event venue! We had a blast!"
