Reviews of Advocate Clinic at Walgreens
"They are doing virtual examinations with a nurse practitioner not even with the doctor and their chairs need to be replaced in the waiting room"
"Staff is very rude. The staff comes in with the patients. The clinic opens at 9 am, they come in at 9 am. I was told it is a Illinois state law requires you to have a state ID at 16. Shame on you! It’s not a law! From then on they only addressed my son. Granted he is 18, however a high school student and a dependent. No insurance and No job. I have understand the rules however the nice nasty is not showing the BOE’s of Advocate aurora. You Never know who your clients are. Do better. I wish I could give the staff zero stars."
"Not what you say but how you say it! As a medical professional & having dealings with the public overall! That should not have to be throughly explained! I was sent here by my daughter's pediatrician because I no longer have public aid insurance & I have private insurance, my daughters doctor wrote on a prescription paper that my daughter needs an Hpv shot, me not knowing exactly where to go at first I went to the pharmacy line, the pharmacist told me that advocate health care was separate from what my daughter needed & she showed me the portal to where you have to sign in. I did not see or look at the sign that says what "specific" shots they do as I was just trying to get my daughter signed in. The lady whoever she was I should've got her name, rudely came out & says no that's a prescription paper, you need to go to the pharmacist, I was trying to tell her what I was actually coming in for, but she kept rudely interrupting me talking about you see this sign like I dumb, I'm so sorry my reading is not fundamental for you & I can't comprehend! I was just trying to get the issue resolved for my daughter so much u didn't read the sign! I really wish I would've gotten her name she was very rude!"
"I went to this clinic because it's closer to my job. They "open" at 9am so I was there earliest 8:30am because I wanted to be the first in and out. The clinic did not open until 9:20am, then they took my payment before being seen and proceeded to take another persons payment as well before seeing me. So I finally get in around 9:40am and get "screened" by a separate person and asks about my visit. Told her I had bites on my lower legs. I used Dr. Google to self "diagnose" myself so I was freaking out. Told her I either have Bed Bugs or Scabies. So I wait again in the waiting area and get called in shortly by the doctor or PA. She don't even touch or try to examine my bites. She literally took a glance at my bites and said "Bed Bugs". Then proceeded to give me medicated body wash "In case I thought it was scabies", her words. I also told her that my fiance and I sleep in the same bed and he wasn't experiencing any bites on his body. Told her I took a good look at all my furniture and didn't find any signs of bed bugs. She then said "Guys are different.". I found both of those comments to be very unprofessional. To make matters worse I called in a Bed Bed exterminator to inspect my house and he found no signs of bed bugs. To be fair she also prescribed Benadryl and Hydrocortisone cream for the bites. My exterminator is the one that told me that some people do not have allergic reactions to the bites. Do not waste your time and money at this clinic. Go somewhere where you're cared about."
"If I could Change my star to a half I would, I was prescribed over the counter mess, when it was take care they would have told you it's an otc just go pick it up. As far as the pharmacy oil waited an hour , only to get in line to inquire about my prescription and get a text from Walgreens saying my medication is out of stock and if they had it anyway it wouldn't be covered , like it shouldn't be a problem, il never ever go back to advocate or that Walgreens again."
