"Cabin Porch Paradise is TRULY a paradise! I've stayed in many cabins and beach houses and this rental is the absolute tops! The house and grounds are amazing, and Melanie is a wonderful and gracious host. This custom-built home has amazing architectural touches inside and out, and the decor is just lovely throughout the entire home. We were delighted with all the unexpected personal touches - fresh flowers throughout the home and even a bowl of home-grown vegetables and local coffee beans were provided. We so enjoyed the whole property, from the lily pond to the firepit to the hot tub, the garden areas and surrounding nature were so relaxing and peaceful. It's simply a magical setting! The kitchen is fabulous, very well-stocked for even the most avid cook - it was a pleasure to spend hours preparing food and visiting; it would be great for gatherings large and small. We enjoyed relaxing in all the unique spots in the home - two cozy living room areas, two fabulous porches, and the new fire pit area out back. The beds were super-comfy and the spa tub and stone shower in the master bath an absolute luxury! I truly cannot recommend this modern cabin in the woods enough! We would return to the area just to stay here again. It was absolutely worth every penny, and then some - do not pass up an opportunity to stay!"

"What a beautiful, magical cabin. From the long driveway through the woods to the large windows and jetted bathtub with a view, this place brings the best of nature to you and your family. It is an environment that is luxurious (and with ample amenities!) but still grounded in its surroundings. Melanie is a delightful host and provided everything we needed and more! Ample firewood, luxurious bedding, and freshly ground coffee are just a few examples of her thoughtful touches. We loved this place and will definitely be back!"

"Stress and tension melt away immediately upon driving up to this slice of paradise, a nature lover's dream, to be immersed in the outdoors while enjoying the comfort of the indoors at the same time. Melanie's cabin will delight your senses with plush rugs on bare feet; handy fluffy blankies everywhere to toss over your lap or around your shoulders; local artists' nature paintings on the walls to delight; plentiful towels and bathrobes to make dips in the hot tub, the rain shower, and the extra large indoor soaking tub a sensory experience; and extras in the kitchen and baths to address your every need. A night of peacefully silent sleep is to be expected. Outside one is surrounded by a forest with several outdoor "rooms" to enjoy while watching the wildlife--a front porch, a screened-in back porch, a camp fire ring, a hot tub and a grilling area, and a frog pond. This place is the defintion of a great escape!"
