"The staff at this location are friendly, helpful, and provide 5 star service. I feel like that should be a full stop, but I’m coming back to this old review to try and make a tricky situation right. Hopefully, some readers will learn from my mistakes regardless of their lender. First, my negative review was reactionary in response to what have become standard practices at every bank I’ve done business with: why? I don’t know. All this technology and a check from a new account takes 7 days? That’s fair to be upset about. But, the fact that I put us in that position was not the lenders’ fault. Tempers flare and it’s easier to forget the grace they showed when our relationship was new, which was generous. Looking back, it’s been a tough pill to swallow. If I hadn’t reacted defensively, expecting every bank is trying to run the Bailey’s Savings and Loan out of business, we could have handled my business without fees or penalties. But, I lost my cool, we did not find a solution that day, and paid my fees and took my self-righteous anger online. It’s been tough to know that about myself, tougher still to try to say it here. But, they’ve been good enough to us despite the way I acted that it’s worth taking the time to fess up and try to set it right. Trustmark has been exceptionally good to us which makes this more embarrassing, my past lenders mostly existed as a mailing address and infuriating call center. I wasn’t fair to good people, so I’m clearing the air to clear my conscience. I’m happy to recommend Trustmark and will keep doing business with them. Trust works both ways, so learn from my mistakes: get your first checks their early or learn what a Debit Cash Advance is (it saved me from late fees another month). Also, don’t lose your cool and treat people poorly over a penalty that was courteously waved already and only represents 0.0005 of your business relationship. "If I could give a negative score I would!! This bank has no after hours or emergency number. If it does, why is it so hard to locate. The ATM shutdown in the middle of a deposit transaction, AFTER IT TOOK MY MONEY!!! Sunday afternoon, unable to speak with any live person. Every number gives automation. If anything bounces I am holding Trustmark responsible!!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!"
