"I had my baby here two weeks ago and every single nurse and doctor we had was so pleasant and supportive. They explained everything they were doing and were so caring with me. They made sure i was comfortable and had everything i needed. Everyone has different experiences and mine was wonderful. I'm so grateful i had a good support system and family with me for my first child."
"I’m so disgusted. I honestly thought I mattered here and it’s clear I’m just another number that walks through the door. I’ve been terminated by (not going to disclose any names but I will after I give birth) an OBGYN and the whole office here at St. Vincent because I missed a 15 minute depo shot. And if it sounds like I’m leaving out details I’m not! She literally said I’m terminated because of “missed appointments” but I keep EVERYTHING logged. I missed ONE FIFTEEN MINUTE APPOINTMENT! She said I couldn’t come back and I even have the screenshots from the portal. She also said I would have to sign to get my records released over which is like “ok whatever” but termination from a place I thought cared about me? I will never step foot in this place again. This place does NOT care about you. Oh and guess what? I’ve already had my first baby here and they still terminated me over a 15 minute depo shot. I’m like.. disgusted and soo offended because I’ve been going here for WELLL over several years! I swear I need to move states! St. Vincent do better! ❌"
"This hospital is responsible for the death of my mother. She was hospitalized for low sodium which caused her to be very week and disorientated. Plus she was on medication that listed it would make her a fall risk. The staff failed to list her as a fall risk! My mother went ti the bathroom by herself and fell face first onto the ceramic tile floor. She busted her eye and broke her wrist. My family noticed my mom’s right eye didn’t look normal and ask the hospitalist Dr on duty to have her eye looked at. The Dr and staff told my family on three different occasions they didn’t have an ophthalmologist on staff and never called anyone to check her eye. (They sent my mother home two or three days earlier than we were originally told. I think they just wanted her gone after the fall) with a busted eyeball, leaking fluid and losing pressure in her eye. When my mom seen her oncologist a week later, he is the one that sent her to an eye specialist. They couldn’t find the lens from a transplant she had gotten years before. They didn’t know if the lens was embedded in her eye or if it popped out when she hit the floor. She had to have surgery on her eye and had to get ten stitches in her eyeball. After following up with her orthopedic Dr. he decided they would need to do surgery on her wrist or she would lose function of her fingers on her right hand (she’s right handed) she went for surgery on 09/13/23 and passed away on 09/14/23. Her death certificate listed her death as multiple blunt trauma and fall in the bathroom. Be aware of taking your loved ones to this facility for any type of treatment."
"Great experience with my nurses & doctors when I had my son in February. The WORST billing experience of any kind of service I have ever needed. Applied for financial assistance in April. After multiple calls to hospital, financial advisors, & customer service no one could tell me anything. By June I decided to file again. Then got sent to collections. Finally approved August 28th & now in October they are still charging my account!! Customer service is a complete waste. The entire process has been a headache. You try to be so patient & nice, but now I know why people get so frustrated with these hospitals."
"Stayed for almost 30 days, staff was the best, always helping whenever they could! Food was pretty amazing and looked great also. I barely bothered the nurses but they checked on me and made sure I was comfortable for my stay. I love this hospital and would choose it over any I've ever been to"
