Select Specialty Hospital - Evansville

"My brother was at select hospital and almost lost his life he is now in the hospital fighting for his life. He never got a bath till the family gave him one.Also the food looked nasty.He was only at select almost a month and they did nothing for him except almost kill him. When they sent him to the hospital family went to pick up his things they was waiting at the door with them in a bag like he didn't matter but he sure does to use. So please take heed do not send your family member there if you love them and want them to live. Please take warning."

"I was nervous about this place due to reviews I had read but it couldn’t have been a better experience for my dad. Of course it’s a nursing home type atmosphere so there’s going to be things different from what you’d see in a typical hospital, but he was well pleased with the staff and the CEO even came to speak with him. (He had no complaints)"

"My fiancé was in this facility for almost a month in there “icu” area! Every therapist and nurse that was apart of his care team were super attentive and friendly! The nursing staff in the icu were all phenomenal and always willing to chat and answer any questions we had regarding his care or medication! We are grateful for everything they did for him during his stay!"

"If I could give zero stars I would ! My father has been here a week and the nurse have him crying in pain for hours! I was already having my doubt about this place because of other reviews and the case manager assured me things changed! They have not I’m so disgusted with the nurse Erik!! He is a veteran as well as a nurse so he should have a lot more compassion and empathy towards individuals who are in this state. He made it his business to tell me he is also the house nurse so where does the complaints about him go? Everything being done to my father is getting documented because these male nurses are neglectful! My father words the woman nurses are great but the men come see you once and they never return! How?"

"This is the ABSOLUTE WORST place you or a family member should ever go to! People are mistreated and neglected. And upon release your asked to fill out a survey and if you rate them anything under an 8 your survey is thrown into the trash. I have documentation from the CEOand pictures I can share with anyone on this matter!! PLEASE for the sake of your HEALTH DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I'm editing my post and adding some pictures. Since the "OWNER" has now reached out to want to talk to me, and after reading posts dated back 3 or more years and the same owner is the same as presently and NOTHING has changed or improved!!!! Shame on this place even being in business still. The rest of my explicit photos will be shared with the BBB and insurance company so they know what kind of care they are paying this "OWNER" for!!!"
