"I was visiting the area from out of town had the opportunity to drop in to a few classes at Mazu. Cole, the owner and head coach, does a great job of structuring classes, teaching solid skills, and creating a fun learning environment. He is hands on with students and gives honest but encouraging feedback. The other students in class were welcoming and respectful to me, the coach, and each other. Especially as a woman who trains in Muay Thai, the gym culture is an important component in having a positive training environment. Mazu does a great job at fostering a positive environment that encourages growth. It was a great experience and I can see why Mazu has a dedicated class full of students. I’ll be visiting the area again soon and am looking forward to training with the Mazu team again."
