Reviews of Polson & Polson, P.C.
"If you are looking for a legal team that will treat you like family and who genuinely cares about their clients, then this is the place to go! Legal issues can be terrifying, but everyone here makes the process so easy and straightforward. I can’t thank them enough!"
"Contacted Polson & Polson about a ticket a family member had received. They were professional, responsive and very easy to work with. The office staff was awesome and kept me notified of what needed to be done when all was finalized."
"I was charged with my 3rd DUI as well as a bogus assault charge from over 9 years ago that I knew nothing about. Whitney came all the way to Huntsville to represent me. The plea bargain that he got for me was exceptional. I will only do 4 days in jail with probation and the assault charge was dismissed. He is an excellent attorney and truly works hard to help you. I have had a stellar experience. Thank you so much!"
"My consultation was with Whitney Polson. He spoke well and his knowledge of the court system was very apparent which certainly put me at ease. They definitely did what they needed to do to handle my case by the books, and I’m certain that they’re competence in legal matters is above average to say the least, just by the speed of their response in filing paperwork, and the great detail that was used in the responses. I certainly was satisfied in this regard. I began feeling uneasy as time went on as I couldn’t get ahold of Whitney via email or phone to ask questions until court dates drew near. I hired them based off reviews praising their communication and responsiveness. I never spoke with Mark Polson or saw him until the very end, when I was already sitting in the court room waiting for my name to be called. From my interaction with Mark, I could tell that he was a wealth of knowledge and experience. I felt I was informed more in that 10 minute conversation than I was throughout the entire process before. From this conversation with Mark, it appeared to me that I was lied to about a key detail in my case by both Whitney and the receptionist(s) I spoke with previously. In my situation, I was accused of possession 1st degree. Now, I’m sure I was being brushed off until absolutely necessary, as the best, safest course of action, in their mind, would be to plead into the second chance program rather than trying to fight the case. My issue comes in when, during my conversations I was able to have, I felt I was being more talked at than an actual conversation with serious consideration on the attorney’s end. When I was able to actually speak with Whitney regarding the paperwork in my case, I was basically reread the paperwork that I’d already read myself, as if I was not competent to understand the words I’d already read on the paper. Ultimately, I asked if I could request the body cam and cruiser footage that was supposed to be included in my case by the police department but was conveniently left out by those boys in police uniforms. I was told that I could, and that if it was not provided then we’d get an extension on my due date in court until the footage was supplied. I was told this by Whitney, and as the days drew closer to my court date and the footage wasn’t available, I received the same response from a receptionist, although in a much shorter tone. By the shortness of the receptionist’s tone and response (and lack of) I knew something wasn’t right. My court date comes and no footage has been provided. During my day in court, before I was called, I had my first conversation with Mark Polson who broke down the situation very well about how the prosecution typically doesn’t like to comply with records requests to the benefit of the defendants. I wasn’t upset but very disappointed that such important information that could have easily been supplied to me beforehand for a better understanding, was not. I’m sure that Mark was hands-off up until then which made me sad because it seems like he was the person I should have been speaking to from the beginning. Granted, I’m sure he was too busy, as I was always reminded by Whitney of their heavy case loads that made it difficult to keep track of just one case like mines. The fact that I was told one thing, and not told otherwise until I was already sitting in court, and the messenger of the news was not the same person who’d been speaking to me over the phone the entire time, leads me to feel lied to. That I was sailed up a creek. Therefore, I believe that Polson & Polson are certainly well versed & competent in the ways of the courts. But, it does not guarantee that they will handle you the person, as straightforward as the paperwork and motions they file on your behalf. If I just wanted to throw money at my problems and bury my head in the sand until it all went away then this review would be a 5/5, 10/10. However, I’m VERY particular about details. I wasn’t going to write a review but I figured there may be someone out there who could benefit from the sincerity."
"Mark Polson & Whitney Polson, are fantastic, they are professional, fair, direct, efficient, and most importantly effective! Jennifer, was a pleasure to work with as well, If you need a Lawyer I highly recommend Polson & Polson."
