"Been going here since the end of 2022, got discharged today after a Month or More of waiting on my therapist to get in. No Calls (ICalled) said they sent me a letter… Lord knows I’ve showed up for appointments with NOBODY in the office at my appointment times and I never said anything nor left them a review for wasting my gas or time (MoreThenOnce). There’s More.. But Im Gonna leave it at 1star and your rating is now 2.9 stars for a Counseling Center. (Suppose2Help). Just go to the Bowen Center/ Same Psych./Same Insurance./LessHassle/ BetterManagement. -Pic was of my next appointment my psych wanted to Actually see me. Not twice in a 4 week span? >.> -"
"I went here and really like it at first- Joel is on the spectrum, sympathetic, understanding and educated on issues I have as a female combat veteran. UNTIL I decided to take my children there. Their first & only visit I was running late, and rather than tell me to reschedule (I called), they took their frustration out on my children. I didn’t engage the (new) counselor who was in all tones enraged. I called & complained about her behavior and then got BANNED. I called to ask why and Jessica said because my “Medicaid.” I didn’t use Medicaid, I used private insurance and money out of my own pocket. Their reason? Because I was late and hung up on them twice. (LIE) My #1 motto in life-> stay away from irresponsible liars. That’s what they are, no matter how “good” Joel is. Use your own discernment- especially if on Medicaid because Jessica popped off a little bit different when I said I used private insurance. IYKYK"
"I was in a dark place and gave them a call. I am glad because they have changed my life. Fantastic people. Very nice, helpful, answered all of my questions. I love my therapist. She was able to get me to see a whole new perspective and it has truly changed my life. Thank you for everything!! Highly recommend."
"Love this place and the people that work there. Front desk is always so helpful and my doctor has been the only one I’ve seen in years that has got me on a medication that has worked. It’s helped me at home and in my career. Only complaint I would have is that everytime my prescription should refill it doesn’t and I have to call in. Not sure why that is the case but the problem is always corrected after a quick phone call. Keep up the good work!"
"I called and scheduled an appointment but let them know my insurance card hadn’t arrived yet they said as long as I had a digital copy I would be fine. I went in and they said they had to have a physical copy. Not only did I drive 30 minutes for them to tell me the wrong thing. But this is a place for mental health! People take weeks of preparation to finally be able get the confidence to say they need help. And get past the anxiety to go to the appointment and they say we can’t do anything for you. AFTER they informed me they could take a digital copy of my card because I had not received mine. Now I have to wait weeks for another appointment. Weeks some people don’t have to wait. I understand if someone is unprepared and doesn’t have it that’s on the patient. But this was not the case *Edit I did have a digital copy, I said I had a copy on my phone and she said we had to have a physical copy. And then on top of that the fact that your reply is snarky and not helpful at all. You blame it on me instead of possibly your receptionist? Where the reviews clearly state that they’ve had issues in that area as well. It was not handled properly, there was 0 understanding or compassion even in your response."
