"I am sad to say (because the people seemed nice) that I myself cannot recommend this place; I know for a fact that I have a form of internal Hemorroids and after making a appointment to this place knowing that I had internal Hemorroids (because it grew out of the left side of my rectum) which caused a fissure, I then told the doctor about the Hemorroids. The doctor convinced me to get a Botox shot to paralyze the muscle so the fissure could heal, They told me the cost of the Botox treatment would be around 1000 dollars. After the procedure was done on top of the Botox cost I then received another bill for over 8000 dollars for A total cost of amost 10,000 for one trip. The Botox made my condition worse because it's not an effective treatment for internal Hemorroids and my inflammation in the rectum was made worse from it."

"Moved here a few years ago. Within that time, an elderly parent has been transported to this hospital (merely because it was the closest) via ambulance. Each time, they spent hours waiting to be transported to another hospital that could actually help them. We still received a hefty bill for this hospital as well. I now have a medical bracelet that says please transport to any other hospital besides St. Francis Mooresville. :( I truly wish they were able to assist! It's SO close to our home! Unfortunately, they are not able to handle extensive emergencies. After my elderly parent's stroke. The Ambulance took him to St. Francis Mooresville. We received a call when he arrived and came to meet him. They told us that they could not be helped at St. Francis. They would move him by ambulance and that we should leave to meet him (since an ambulance drives faster - without traffic). We left and he continued to sit in St. Francis, just waiting for transportation to go to St Vincent (up north). Over 5 - hours later we were still promised that he would be there any minute. The moment he arrived, St. Vincent went to work removing the blood clot in his brain. Unfortunately, because he literally SAT for hours without assistance, he now has permanent damage. It has been almost a year. I'm told that any recovery will be within a year. After that year, he will remain at that level. I can't help but be frustrated that this could have been avoided. I'm not sure how much of this I can assign to the hospital. Couldn't they have called a helicopter if an Ambulance was unavailable? If it was unavailable - why wasn't another ambulance service reached out to? And most importantly - when a patient was brought in with a stroke - why wasn't he re-directed to a capable hospital? I was told several times while at the hospital, that this facility cannot handle this type of problem. This should have been avoided! Ambulances call in their rides while en route. I'm sure they are great at delivering children. And I'm sure their Emergency Room is capable of handling little things, but I will not be using them. I don't want to find out too late that this location cannot care for me. I'll go to a bigger place with better capabilities knowing that the emergency services provided in the Ambulance is all I would get at St. Francis if they can't handle my issue. I'll keep checking to see if this hospital ever gets upgraded and is able to handle what surrounding hospitals can handle. Maybe I'll re-evaluate my decision to go anywhere but here."
