"6 years ago I was admitted to the adult psychiatric unit if Huntsville Hospital and you prescribed medications without ever doing any proper testing or blood work. Then you had me removed from care bacause I wouldn't take the meds. I suffered from a massive distonic reaction the the Seroqil and was rushed back to the ER 20 minutes later. The attending Dr gave me Benadryl to calm the symptoms and then released me. I wound up in the ER at Crestwood, were they had to prop my mouth open with a bite guard and had someone watch over me for 24 hours until the seizures stopped. I hope I NEVER cross paths with you again. You took an oath to provide excellent health cate to patients, not administer drugs to them so they will shut up and not ask questions. If you had done PROPER TESTING you would have found extreme high levels of cortisol and insulin. A simple change of diet was all I needed."
"I appreciated Dr Vasada being straight to the point about recommendations and treatment for my family member. He listened to my concerns and was quick and to act in the best interest of his patient."
"Was at inpatient for 4 days at Huntsville Hospital. Dr. V made me feel safe, understood, and important. Very good doctor!!"
"Very good Dr."
"Head of psychiatry at Huntsville Hospital? This Dr is disconnected from even basic practice. I have been inpatient off and on for over two decades with him at the helm. The last time I left art group in tears and went to my bed. I had been tasked with a simple needlepoint bookmark and was profoundly disturbed by not being able to process the instructions. The doctor entered my room with 2 interns and demanded that I return to the group or leave. He could have taken the opportunity to provide me AND the interns with insights and ways to cope with the territory. Instead,I left in a highly agitated state. The two interns were both red faced. In hindsight, six years later + 3 more hospitalizations I get insights into the handicaps of my chronic severe treatment resistant depression. This man is arrogant, apathetic, and percieves himself as a caste above the profession."
