"An absolutely STUNNING venue, but I do not recommend. I received a call from my point of contact 10 days out from my wedding reception, and she said there was not enough space or tables for my guests. However, I had provided a maximum guest count of 200 to the point of contact in February. Yet, my updated total of 165 was supposedly not going to fit in the space. After demanding more tables be found, this issue was fixed and there was plenty of space. The doors were not unlocked at the time stated on the contract, and we entered the building the morning of to discover the A/C was broken. The heat index was 115 that day. Despite contacting our point of contact and other representatives multiple times, nothing was done to assist us with this problem. My husband and his family spent $600 of their own money to buy fans from Lowes during our reception. Our beautiful cake had to be cut immediately, as it was leaning and sweating in the heat. It was delicious though!! All of our wedding guests, including ourselves, were from at least 3 hours away and from across the country (California, North Dakota, New York, South Carolina, and Mexico). However, so many of our guests had to leave within the first hour, including my grandparents, due to the unbearable heat, meaning that they were unable to eat the delicious food we paid for or experience the fun moments throughout the night. Everything about our day was truly perfect, except for the A/C issue and lack of care from the venue. Thankfully, we were able to receive a full refund after fighting our case with the point of contact. Please beware if you choose to have your event here!"
