"The 3 ladies working here on the afternoon of February 8th were extremely rude. They argued with me about going back with my minor child who is terrified of needles and was already in tears when we got there. On top of that they did a horrible job of taking my child's blood it's been over a week and their arm is still bruised all the way around to their elbow. As left I did wish these lady's a better day but ultimately they shouldn't be in health care because they don't care. All 3 of them were very rude and unprofessional not to mention their bed side manner is non existent. I wish community hospital sent out surveys for their phlebotomists like the do their doctors."
"Setting an appointment here was confusing, and the reviews were not favorable, so I was skeptical, but needed my labs drawn. I decided to just go to the site, and talk with someone. I went in, and the check-in window was covered with blinds, but there was a check in stand. Instructions on the TV inside the lobby said to set an appointment on the website (quest diagnostics) so I set an appointment while I was in the waiting room on my phone, then checked in using my phone number for ID. 5 mins later a very nice young lady called my name, and took me back to have my labs drawn. She made a copy of my insurance, and my ID, and was very thorough in checking the lab request. Once she drew my labs, she had me check each tube to be sure it was labeled with my name. Everyone there was very polite and professional. I learned while I was there that Quest Diagnostics is taking over for Mid-America, so that explained all of the confusion. I'm sure in a month or so, they will have better processes in place. Also, they close at 4:30, not 5pm. This is apparently a new development. Very nice, very professional, very clean. I would definitely recommend. Just keep in mind they are transitioning, and be patient with the staff. You must set an appointment online- the phone number listed here is for the old Mid-America offices, you will NOT get an answer."
"I have been to this location 3 times recently and have had a problem each time. The first time the girl did not know how to use the computer and could not get my doctor in the system. The next time the waiting room was full and the clients were complaining that nothing was being done. I personally waited an hour and a half to get blood drawn. The last time, this week, the girl stuck me 3 times and could not get blood, then she called for another girl who stuck me twice in the other arm and still no blood. The next day my arm was very sore where the needle had gone in and they tried to move it around to find blood. Before this changed to Quest I always had my lab work done there and never had a problem. These girls need to be better trained on how to do their jobs. I will not be back."
"I had a terrible experience at the 21st and shadeland location so I made the appointment to come here instead, and I’m so glad I did. In and out in less than 15 minutes, staff was super nice and understanding of my fear of needles."
"Made an appointment online, was not found upon arrival. Waited over 30 minutes in the middle of a pandemic in the lobby. Two stars given because the staff was nice. Quest FAIL."
