"Phenomenal golf course! The entire team does a fantastic job of maintaining the course and holding people accountable. Every person who works here is super friendly and superb at their job. Appreciate you all for maintaining the course and making each visit enjoyable!"
"In response to Benjaman Steven's. The groups ahead and behind you were patrons. You were reported as abusing carts around greens. I caught you twice after that. I realize you want to do only what you want to do. But golf courses have rules for the good of all. Both groups of patrons can attest to not playing through sprinklers. Sorry you have a disdain for common golf course practice. The vast majority of golfers are wonderful. Unfortunately, their are some who want to play 6, some that abuse, and some who back up the golf course with their slow play. We Unfortunately have to deal with these entitled few. But we will continue to work for the vast majority. And continue to be the busiest course in the area"
"A similar negative experience as described by others. Arrived 15 minutes early for tee time to find clubhouse locked at 3 pm on a holiday weekend. There were an abundance of hand written signs on copy paper plastered on doors and windows. Entered clubhouse through restaurant side and waited a few minutes. Employee walked in and was surprised to find us in clubhouse and stated “I guess I should have locked the back door as well”. The course itself is in OK shape but was approached by a maintenance employee on course twice to not drive carts behind the greens. We’re not juvenile delinquents tearing up the place. Many holes on this course have very large gaps behind greens. If a course rule of emphasis perhaps it was posted as one of the hand written signs in the clubhouse. There were several groups remaining on course when sprinklers were turned on. There was well over an hour of daylight remaining to play while our pace was around 3:30. We had to avoid sprinklers on several holes to finish out. As others have stated, we were made to feel as though we were a nuisance and not welcome. I don’t expect to be pampered on a public course but basic customer service is lacking."
"I used to play this course frequently over past years. The course became run down several years ago and the change of ownership was a positive change. However, in recent years the woman running check in has become increasing rude and made me feel they were doing me a favor by letting me play. I played three times last year and finally gave up after being treated poorly each time. A friend and I played the first week of April this year and we forgot to get a tee time. There were six cars in the parking lot and the woman at the counter made us feel like we were not welcome. Her attitude indicated that was doing us a favor by letting us on the course. It's a shame as her husband who has been responsible for numerous improvement to the course is a nice person and firmly understands how to maintain the course. I won't be going back until she is gone. I drive to Rochester where they understand the they are there for the customer, not the other way. I would rate this course a four if not for the poor service."
