"I went to this place for the first time. The music was good but the rest of other activities ruined my night. First, it was mostly empty throughout the night. Then later a fight broke out and someone threatened me for no reason (I was sitting at the bar). I had no clue what really was going on. The whole experience discouraged me from visiting this place again. As a traveler of many cities, I try to enjoy restaurants/bars/clubs that play African music. My Club Kalakutah experience wasn't a pleasant one. I'm sure, that wasn't the owner's intention but they can do better to make it a friendly place."
