"What an amazing place to tour you can soak in the local history and the the guide was very knowledgeable about the local history. What a great place if you just want to take a quick tour and seem some really amazing local history I love it."
"Beautiful house full of history! (Hence the local reference "the house of history"!) I have been here on many occasions over the years- from selling Christmas ornaments from a huge real tree in the upstairs hallway as a child, to attending the Lynn Strunk memorial tea. (And many times between!) Portraits hung throughout are very interesting- the rooms have been lovingly painted. I do miss the period furniture being in place however. The whole house used to be furnished- which made for a very immersive experience. Still lovely though!"
"We went to see the Annual Gallery of Wreaths. I loved the old house and Kinderhook is such a quaint little village."
"Well preserved historical site. Must visit and tour"
