"It's a nice course but they tend to over-book their tee times."
"Been golfing here for an entire season. If there was a zero star that would be my rating. The course is okay. Open feeling with ALOT of clover. The management team besides two people are completely a**h****. They will book tee times 7 minutes apart on weekends and not have enough golf carts to accommodate PAYING CUSTOMERS. EVERY time I booked to play on a weekend there is a 45min-1.5hour delay of not having enough carts. This is all before noon also. Will not reduce their price for the inconvenience THEY create nor give rain day vouchers. They talk to you when you come into the clubhouse like a dog. Will not answer phones when they’re open to see if there is a delay for any reason. They do not have marshals to try to keep pace of play for busier days. Over priced for a product they produce. You will get more for your money by going to their competitors like Southern Dunes, Bluff Creek, Buffer, and Heartland Crossing. The one thing they have over their competitors is their chipping green. So if you travel like me and would like to play close to when you book a tee time, or answer the phone and answer you if there is anything that is delaying a tee time go somewhere else. Worse golf course (speaking for management not the course) I’ve played at in over 5 states so far."
"Excellent driving range, chipping areas and putting. Course is challenging yet enjoyable to play. It can be very crowded and play is slow at times. Friendly people in the clubhouse and very good pro shop. Also has a nice area for snacks, etc with plenty of room for large groups to gather after your round."
"Don’t waste your time here. They overbook every single day. The guy working the front desk is rude and it takes 20 minutes just to pay. Factor in each round is 5.5 hours minimum even if you’re playing by yourself. The course itself isn’t horrible but the management is horrible. I’ve never played a round under 4.5 hours here. They stack tee times on each and everyone plays slow…there are several other courses in the area that you’re better off playing. I’d say overall experience this is the worst course in indianapolis"
"Been golfing here for about 2 months on a majority of weekends and I decided today was the last time I would play here. I really do like the course though. It looks good, It has a nice open feel to it, and it can also be challenging if you hit it too far left or right due to the trees. The staff is nice as well. My biggest complaint is the mismanagement of tee times and the availability of golf carts. For three straight weekends, my group and I have waited to tee off because we had to wait for carts to be available. We even got there early each time. We would tee off 45 minutes past our tee time. This was all before noon as well. This would also cause a giant bottleneck of golfers at the first hole. Today, we had 4 groups start at the same time on the first hole. We had a 5.5 hour round and we also had another foursome jump in front of us on the back 9 when it was already busy. There needs to be a Marshall to keep pace of play. They need to make tee times at least 10 minutes away from each other instead of 7 minutes. If you are going to do 7 minute gaps, at least have enough carts available so people can tee off when they are supposed to. I have never seen a golf course not have enough carts. I understand they are trying to make as much money as they can, but it does not make it an enjoyable experience when you are waiting 15 minutes to tee off on each hole. With how crowded it’s been this summer, they surely can afford to purchase more carts. If they can’t buy more carts, then offer less tee times. The bunkers are also dirt and not real sand. Overall, it’s a fun course when it’s not busy but it’s just mismanaged with tee times and carts. Please buy more carts. I also just read reviews as long as two years ago describing the same tee time and cart mismanagement I’ve experienced recently. So, it’s obvious the owner has no interest in solving this issue."
