Raceview Family Campground

"Race view is the greatest place to camp. Right across the street from Lucas Oil Raceway Pk. The staff is as friendly as you can get, they care and are professional about it. It's always clean and safe. I would rate 10 stars if power ✌️"

"My best guess is that this is a decent campground for any race except NHRA Nationals. Generally clean bathrooms and showers. It is just across the streer from the Lucas oil raceway. That is one of the only benefits. Now if you enjoy being overcharged and consistent pricing changes at the last minute (2 weeks before the event) then this is your place! Just wait!! Each year there are changes and price increases that you don't find out about until the last minute! Exciting, right!?! So don't bother planning/saving money before hand. Take out a loan and you'll be just fine. This is not the first time that they have increased pricing at the very last minute. My family has been going to this Campground over 20 years and over the last 10 years the prices have doubled if not tripled for cmaping and permits. This used to be a fun place to go and enjoy camping, socializing and racing. Its all about the money now and how much they can squeeze out of their customers. Huge police presence which is uncomfortable instead of reassuring. They have also now began charging additional camping costs for kids 10 and up. The woman's restroom only has two occasional flushing toilets too...so it is awesome when one is out of order. Save your money and get a hotel room. Way better deal."

"Not a hotel, it's a campground. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The area is nice and quiet. It was our 2nd year camping for the races, and it won't be our last. We love being able to walk across the road to the truck and Arca series races. There is a water fill-up station, a dump station, and a nice shower house. They also have picnic tables and sell ice."

"Stayed several days for the Indy 500. Lots of space between sites so you don't feel on top of each other. Sites only offer electrical services however there is a great shower room and bathroom near the front of the campground. The water was hot and had really good pressure. There is also a fill station as well as dump station. Plus great people. Would stay here again!"
