"Owner is the sweetest lady ever, rooms are a little shabby, cheapest place in Crawfordsville!!!!"

"Very dirty. Floor not swept, have to wear sandals around cannot go barefoot. Shower and whole bathroom area dirty not cleaned in god knows how long. Have to wear shoes in the shower also. Tables disgusting I can only imagine the germs. When I wiped it with paper towel, it was completely brown and gross. You get what you pay for. Oh and bugs."

"I stayed here back in 2011 after driving all night towards Montana. God bless ‘em...be prepared to step back into the 60s. My shower floor was a concrete slab, the walls were the faux wood panels, and there was a screen door on the front that remind me of the old motor lodges in the horror films where everyone died. The little old lady that got up at 1 AM was just as nice as she could be and thank God I brought cash because I don’t think she had a credit card machine at the time… Anyhow, you get what you pay for, there’s not much in the rooms, save for electricity, climate control and a few three-pronged outlets....and for a quick couple hours of sleep in a clean bed, meh, it was good."

"Wish I could rate lower. My truck broke down. Had to walk 3 miles in freezing rain. Sign on door said to call for emergency. Keep in mind this small town has no taxi service. I begged the lady to give me a room at any price but refused because it was after 10. Luckliy a different guest there was nice enough to give me a ride to a much nicer hotel. The weather was so bad someone could of easily died. Scary situation."

"The owner is so sweet, even if you hated the place you'd stay with her. Every thing was clean and worked as it should. And very affordable. It is an old place, but it has a very nice welcoming feel to it."
