Walgreens Pharmacy

"The pharmacy tech was extremely rude, I went at 535pm today 12/08/2023 to pick up my sons medication after his surgery. How was I supposed to know my insurance didn’t cover my sons medicine. I inform her I have a good rx code and my fsa/hra card. She asks if I can just come in since she has to keep the line moving, I inform her I’m sorry but I’m sick. Her demeanor turn really nasty towards me. After inputting the information, She grabs my son’s prescription puts it in the drop box and walks away without a word. I grab it and wait as I didn’t know she left my son’s insurance card and my fsa card in the envelope attach to his medicine because she didn’t say anything. She comes back to the drive through window with a nasty attitude and says hello and I just say “my cards”. She says they’re in the envelope and I say sorry I didn’t know and she looks at me very rudely and walks away. This was extremely rude, the drive thru is there for a reason, I’m sick and could not come in. Retrieving the good rx code and card took less then 3 minutes.. there’s no need to be rude. If you don’t like your profession or have zero customer service find a different career path."

"This is about the pharmacy. I think it's true of all of them, tho. Lately my scrips are sent here from a central location. The scrip is correct but it comes in a huge plastic vial when the pills barely cover the bottom. Then it's in a huge plastic bag instead of a small one, neither of these are recyclable in my bin.. A paper bag would be better. What a big waste of plastic this is. Walgreens should be ashamed of this. So I'm thinking of talking to Walmart pharmacy to ask what they do and changing my prescriptions. It's just as close to me and has the drive thru."
