"Went to the Twin Lights Lighthouse prior to coming over to the battery. It was an interesting exhibit and what the base was originally used for and what it used to look like when in full operation. I'm glad the county had decided to renovate and open this up for people to see and experience."
"Paved walking trails, some with some pretty steep inclines. Nice views of the Ocean. Informative historical plaques along the trails. Nice new bathrooms that are kept pretty clean."
"Beautiful views of the Navesink River. Lots of WW2 history."
"A defense establishment that's been standing since 1942! Amazing!!"
"Very impressive army site with an interesting history too. There are many posters inside to narrate the history but luckily we met a guide who was knowledgeable and engaging. It was way better than wandering the place on our own. Guide was new and job could be boring but still maintain positive attitude. Inside the area was cool and dripping wet. There are fake plastic bombs in one room for you to pose with."
