"Sometimes there are no words that can describe the majesty of certain spaces, speechless β¦ just enjoying!!"
"We walked to ver five miles. Beautifully maintained and lots to do. Would love to have something like this near our neck of the USA. What an asset to Chicago."
"OMG, I am so lucky to witness the rehearsal of the most talented musicians all over the world in the park. Double Base Xavier Foley was there, did anyone realize he didn't even have to read sheet music. Every note is in his mind. And the conductor Carlos Kalmar, awesome conductor. As a resident from San Francisco I amso envy of Chicago Residents, your city treats you so nice."
"Great lawn for concert. The Jay Pritzker Pavilion is look like a giant red spider at night."
"Whether attending an evening concert or just hanging out on a random day, the Great Lawn attached to the Pritzker Pavilion is a wonderful place to lay out a blanket or bring some chairs and relax. Most events held here are completely free, and you can bring your own food and drinks (there are plenty of nearby establishments that can provide both). The lawn is always well maintained and great for adults and room for kids to explore. The overhead speakers and lighting ensure a pleasant experience, but the lawn itself is uncovered to be prepared in case of inclement weather. There are also beautiful gardens around the perimeter, as well as attractions such as Cloud Gate, the fountains, the Art Institute, Maggie Daley Park, and many others. The best option to get there is public transportation, but if you do drive, using the Millennium Park Garage (exit off of Columbus, go west once underground, then go all the way to the south end) is the most convenient for easy in and out access. It's also much cheaper if you pay ahead using their official website or one of the discounted parking sites."
