"Great staff that really care about the kids that come through there. It is a tough job sometimes but they persevere and continue to provide more than adequate services to the children under the age of 18. God Bless. And, thank you for taking care of these children that sometime know of no home, hardly any family, and are troubled within the system of the state."
"I stayed here for a week and the conditions are awful. Kids there are extremely toxic to each other and the staff fuel it, a child there was literally itching so bad from the pests and was never treated for her condition. The staff there are extremely unprofessional and rude, they treat every second on the clock like it’s lunch break. I never even received majority of my belongings because the staff practically refused to intake anything. I was never rude and treated every person around me with all the respect I could muster for them but the staff treated me like an enemy, I later went to a different residential that actually worked with your family to find the issue and being here just hindered me in every way. I saw my family roughly three times and there was no councilor or mental health professional there to observe our interactions so I never worked on anything involving my mental health issues. I only was able to resolve these minor issues in a different residential that actually hired someone mature and capable of working with children on a schedule instead of turning on lifetime movies and releasing them like wild dogs. This place needs a complete 180 in order to be a functional residential. I’m surprised DCS hasn’t shut this place down yet. There is so much staff on staff drama it’s like high school, they obviously are in need of team building exercise because the children see how much of a fragmented group they are and use it to their advantage."
