"Hello, i worked as a volunteer for 1-1/2 yrs. It was very rewarding and heartbreaking at the same time. To see so many abused children was heartbreaking, to put smiles on there faces was a pleasure and a gift. I played dolls, colored, read books and played with the cooking sets. The toddler girls and boys loved it. I only spoke of positive things. The older kids and teens liked to read books, talk or just sit quietly. I hope i put a glimmer of light in their broken hearts, i know meeting all of them brightened my day. They need our support and love."
