"Seniors, do not go to V.U.!! I graduated from V.U. along with 4 year university and V.U. will not even interview me for multiple positions which I've applied for and had previous success with in other companies. They are not even interviewing their own graduates!! So if they aren't even taking their degrees seriously, then who will??? Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else."
"I have been to this school 3 times for engineering, music, and IT. Each time I was misguided, the engineering chair advised me to pursue ele. eng when my desire described a tech degree. The chair of the music department put me in a classical guitar program when they had a commercial guitar program that was exactly what I wanted. The chair of the IT department didn't even talk with me, I was directed to her by the Dean of the building. She pawned me off on a person that had nothing to do with my interests and while she tried she didn't know any of the answers I needed. Low success stats and department chairs who mislead students who are trusting in the university to be ethical and honest when advising them of the options available. My roommate when I was an engineering student was also an engineering student, he hated math and had 3 years of math before he could start the math for his 4 year degree. This is what I have seen and experienced, don't trust Vincennes University they are not there to help students succeed they are unethical and undeserving of your trust."
"They have very great trade programs and great instructors in them as well, however they're other parts of the university are terrible. If you're looking to learn a trade here best to save up money for a while and get a place off campus if you can. The trades are great but the professors in the general studies have no concern for the students most of the time and want every reason to kick them out while others get to miss however long they want. Also, the campus life seems promising but it really sucks big time. The students are extremely unfriendly and act like you arent a human being if you've not known them since high school or care to even do so. The trade programs and the instructors are great but the professors and board of school are borderline communist."
"I am proud to say I am a student at Vincennes University. It is the most amazing school with the best faculty, financial aid department teachers and facility. Not to mention the most inexpensive School in the state. I am a sophomore and I've been to three colleges this is the best college in the world! I would recommend it to anyone!"
"Went here from 2014-2016. Really enjoyed every minute here. The classes and all the programs I took for Computer Networking were top notch. I see a lot of reviews about people not liking the school or town, and it may have changed since I was there a few years ago. I was fortunate enough to be roommates with people I've known all of my life, but it's really about finding things to do in town. On the surface, Vincennes looks really boring, but I promise there is a lot to do there. There are some cool shops downtown to check out for one. Anyway, when I went there, the classes and professors were great. They were always willing to help and work with you as well. I lived in Harrison my first year and Clark my second year. The bathrooms in Harrison were terrible. It was never the janitor's fault, and quite frankly I always felt bad for them. It was,and probably still is, the people who live there that make those bathrooms so disgusting. Clark Hall, on the other hand, was great! Hard to get into so make sure if you want to get in you apply for it early. The dining center was better than I expected for a small college like this. It's true that it's pretty much the same food every week, but it's still good. There's enough variety so you don't get burned out"
