"DISCLAIMER: I am a member of the Historical Society The Valley Stream Historical Society is a volunteer run not-for-profit with the mission of bringing together people who are interested in the history of Valley Stream and to collect and preserve historical records for the purpose of educating and fostering interest in our community. The Society manages and operates the Pagan-Fletcher House. The house contains great Valley Stream history and the volunteers lead informative and exciting tours from this location. The Society also hosts events and monthly lectures also open to the public. As with any volunteer organization we are always looking for new members to help us grow and share Valley Stream's history."
