"Delighted to say I was the first to officially tour the Hoyt-Barnum House today, 6/30/2017, following its move to this location. The home was beautifully preserved and the self-guided tour well organized. Also the Historical Society staff was gracious and knowledgeable. The Historical Society is also staffed with volunteers and volumes of genealogical and historical information about Stamford. They were most helpful in assisting with my research into my Hoyt and Jones roots."
