Area Five Agency on Aging & Community Services, located at 1801 Smith Street in Logansport, Indiana, is dedicated to providing programs and services that benefit low-income, disadvantaged, and older individuals in the community. Our vision is to empower people through education programming and the removal of barriers to improve their lives.

We offer a wide range of services including information, assistance, counseling, support groups, training, respite care, and supplemental resources. Our Aging & Disability Resource Center provides help with food, financial assistance, healthcare, long-term care, transportation, and more. We are committed to helping individuals navigate their long-term care needs and make informed decisions.

At Area Five, we also provide assistance with utility bills, housing opportunities, financial stability programs, long-term care planning, and health education and screening. Our in-home assistance services help individuals retain their independence, while our respite care and support programs are available for caregivers over the age of 60 and grandparents caring for grandchildren.

We evaluate the needs of individuals and identify available services to help them remain self-sufficient in their own homes. Additionally, we advocate for residents in long-term care facilities to ensure they are treated with dignity and respect. Our agency also offers opportunities for individuals to meet others facing similar situations, share advice, and form friendships.
