"A cute little museum. The last was extremely knowledgeable about the history and future plans of the railway. They hope to extend the railway in the next few years to bring it back to it's former glory and I hope they do. Salamanca is such a cute town and should definitely be a tourist spot."

"A beautifully restored passenger depot is the highlight. Talking to Jaré Cardinal, director of the Salamanca Rail Museum, was a close second. The pictures and artifacts were very nice as well. The stories and information she told us was very interesting. She told us of some grand plans they have in the works and we certainly hope they come true. Other than a donation, the museum is free. Definitely worth a stop."

"We enjoyed the museum alot, the lady there was full of information and interesting facts about the depot and it's history. A nice place to visit if you are in the area or staying at Allegany and want a quick day trip from camp for the kids, they will love the place."
