"I am a black truck driver from NC,if you are driving your truck, drop your trailer 1st. Now the store, it is very clean and comfortable, it's not super big, but the staff has super big hearts. I called on the phone to see if they had a particular wine that you are only suppose to get in the Chicago area. They had it. Upon arrival I was very well greeted and made to at home and welcome. I spoke to Jim [Supervisor]. One of the nicest and most pleasant person I have spoke to in sometime. Upon leaving, and Jim carried my order, he had me thinking we re we friends in HS or maybe our paths cross in the military??? I can promise you this. I WILL BE BACK!"
"Probably the best wine merchant I’ve ever been to. I roughly described the types of wine I like and don’t like and he patiently went through some options with me. I’ve tasted 2 out of the 6 I bought so far and his recommendations were so spot on. I’m impressed. It’s always a risk getting a new bottle you’re not familiar with and he hit it out of the park and stayed within budget. So knowledgable and gave accurate recommendations. I lived out of state otherwise this is the only place I’d buy my wine. 100% recommend."

Excellent buyers, savvy staff deliver broad selection, many uncommon, fun tastings, all approachable, each deserve revisiting.. . complementary pate's and cheeses. "We had never been, but decided to check it out. They were doing wine tasting. Just not for everyone, apparently. We approached the wine tasting table but were never acknowledged. We even made eye contact with the employees engaged in conversation with the other shoppers/tasters. When we knew we were seen, we were hopeful that we would be getting to sample the wine like the others. And yes, we were in the time alloted for the tasting. There was 20 minutes still, plenty of wine still open, and clean stemware waiting for use. We even had selected some bottles of wine to purchase, that we have not seen since moving from Texas. After again getting the attention of an employee and being ignored for chit-chat, it was made clear that we were not going to get any sort of service. So we chose to take our business elsewhere. And will recommend anyone else do the same."
