"growing up i was always told by my mom grandma and aunts about valintown and how its haunted and all the things that has happened there my moms friends dad used to own it in the 80s or 90s. but same with any of the cobblestone buildings right next to it if you go in those buildings have some serious history and spookness behind it the alex and ani store they claim to have a ghost and the will tell you stories if you ask"
"I went here with my boys to expose them to some local history. Half the staff was talking me out of it saying its long and boring.?! I went in anyway knowing that i would probably have to leave early. Yes i was warned, but I do feel it was overly thorough. But to each their own. But they should cosider an abbreviated version for kids (so we can inspire them early). Or maybe just for someone who doesn't want to do 20 min on every piece thats in there. I dont the point is to make people not like it.?"
"Local historical museum. Supposedly haunted. Is it though? Gonna have to go for yourself and see!"
"We moved to 275 high st. Victor N.Y. in 1984. Owned by Sheldon, proprietor of the museum, a very nice guy. My wife and I were to get married in Sept. 1986. in the back yard (acroos the street from the museum) The morning of our wedding it rained to beat the band. An outdoor wedding was out. So the lady's went to Shelon and asked if we could use the museum for our wedding, of course Sheldon said sure. The gals ran over, did a quick arrangement of the main floor and the wedding went foreword. The rain of course stopped and the sun came out, but we were the first in history to get married in the museum. We had been through the museum many times before.... never thought we would get married there. Had a guest of the museum vidio the ceremony and mail a copy to us.A really awesome museum and wedding chaple. Thanks Fisher family for the great memory's."
