Reviews of Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum
"So awesome, to the point I don't want to post this, so as to keep it a treasured secret! But, we had a blast, more fun than 2019! Got a bunch of merch and sampled so many different varieties of "locally" crafted beers. I look forward to visiting some of the breweries. Can't wait to do this again!!"
"My daughter purchased the train and trolley tickets as a mother's Day gift for me. We had an amazing time. The staff was great and the jazz band was phenomenal. I would highly recommend."
"Absolutely amazing!! I definitely recommend going on one of the train/trolly nights fun for kids and adults it's well priced and a unique experience"
"I have gone here multiple times when I was very young and had a blast every single time. The train ride from the New York Museum of Transportation to here is awesome. So much history to learn in the former depot structure and nearby stationary boxcars. There are a bunch of different types of cool locomotives, freight cars, and even a caboose to see. Employees and volunteers are so kind, friendly, and willing to share their knowledge of the museum, local and international rail history, and answer your questions. Great place for fans of rail and history (and both!) of all ages."
"CHEAP AND FUN PLACE TO VISIT WITH YOUNGSTERS!!!! My wife and I took our kids here the other day, and they had a blast! There is a petting zoo with kangaroos, a train to ride(check out the caboose!!) and tons of trains to check out. We spent two hours here and we had a blast. The kids didn't want to leave!!!"
