"Great place to bring the family. Learn about the history of our country"
"Beautiful! My fiance and I went there expecting just a lighthouse. I was going to go take pictures of the lighthouse for my mom. We didn't expect an entire fort! Not only was it absolutely BEAUTIFUL, but the entire staff was so friendly! We have been traveling on vacation for a week and this was supposed to be a quick stop, maybe 30 minutes max. Instead, we walked around and enjoyed ourselves for several hours! We didn't get to do all the things we had planned for the day because we were there for so long and we didn't regret it at all! We thoroughly enjoyed it!"
"A must visit. I did not even know much about it’s history until I visited. They had musket demonstration and actual items on display from the past. Good learning indeed. Thousands of people died, so much bloodshed merely for power. We also visited the light tower. It has 73 stairs, spiral staircase, only 4-5 people can go up at one time. I liked their gift shop as well. Rest rooms were clean too. They have maintained the fort very well."
"Fun place to sit on the beach of lake Ontario and jump in for a swim. The old fort is a cool historical monument to eras past. With your ticket into the park you get that amount of the admission into the actual fort."
"Found this place on a trip advisor website. So happy I made the drive up! The state park that surrounds it is well maintained and beautiful! The entire fort experience was amazing! Definitely one of the best parts of our trip!"
