Reviews
"I have been a patient for 10 years. My son was placed on a medication that I have to call each month to have refilled. It requires multiple telephone calls to the office (sometimes 12 telephone calls). I never wait until the last minute. His staff isn't very nice. The simple call for a prescription gets drug out and delayed. His staff is very rude and unconcerned about getting a simple prescription called in. I have wasted so much time that during my hold time...I decided that we need a doctor that has a more considerate office. Very disappointing that a pediatrician has no concern for his loyal patients."
"We have never been in to see Dr. Addison, and not had to wait at least an hour past our appointment time, more commonly ninety minutes or more. That's when you can even get in to see the doc himself. We have continued to use this office for five years, because Dr. Addison seems very knowledgeable, and comes highly recommended by many, but today we walked out, and wont be back. The nurse that came in to speak with us was quite abrasive. She came in and was asking us yes or no questions from a quetionare, and some seemed to us to need more than a yes or no answer which seemed to frustrate her. After the questionnaire she said ,"so we'll be getting him on medication today." I informed her that we wanted mediation to be the last resort to which she quickly responded well thats probably gonna be what he needs. Her tone was not very polite though this entire interaction. This specific visit was for consultation, and potential diagnosis of ADHD for my son. He had not even received a diagnosis, or even seen the Doctor before they were asking us which pharmacy to send his prescription to. Between the condescending tone of the nurse, and waiting for who knows how long before seeing the doctor (I don't know how long because after waiting for over an hour an a half we walked out) this was a very poor experience. The front desk was very polite, and helpful providing me the release paper needed to transfer is records to a new pediatrician."
"Dr. Addison is a good practitioner but his office staff and ability to keep accurate records are absolutely unacceptable. Rude staff and front office."
"I can not attest to the Doctor himself, his bedside manners or practice as my son and I never got that far. He should however fire his front desk staff as they are absolutely the most rude and condescending women I have ever had the displeasure of attempting to talk with. I feel immensely sorry for Dr. Addison as I'm sure he is a wonderful doctor and has most likely lost many other potential patients because of the horribly rude person(s) he has answering phones and representing the clinic."
