"In June 2016, our family moved to Kankakee. My husband was hired as a Spanish and P.E. teacher at Grace Christian Academy. We do not have family in this area so moving to this area could have been very challenging. But it was so amazing the way this community loved and welcomed our family. This transition had many difficult challenges for us because we were coming from Ecuador where we have been serving as missionaries. This whole school community helped us in so many ways in this transition. Our oldest son started Pre-Kindergarten and is now in 4th Grade. He has learned so much, not just academically but also learning GOD's truth. Our two younger boys started Preschool here and are now in Kindergarten and 2nd Grade. I have enjoyed watching my sons build great relationships with their teachers, staff, and friends in school. Grace Christian Academy is a strong community focusing on family. We are so thankful the Lord brought us here! We love our Grace Christian Academy!"
