"It would be irresponsible of any parent to take their child to this facility during a pandemic as they are currently downplaying the dangers of COVID, and blatantly ignored my concerns for my girls—comparing COVID to the flu and saying that it’s not that serious anymore. I want as close as possible to the best for my kids, and definitely won’t send them to a practice that is so disrespectful and dismissive to their mother. This is especially true when considering how large their degree of ignorance is when it comes to something as “in their wheel house” as a dangerous virus. Please try to find a practice with personnel who don’t just see your child as a dollar sign before settling for this facility. P.S. It would be absolutely AMAZING if people who actively choose to work with and provide care for our children would, at a minimum, pretend to care more about our kids’ health and safety than they do their own income. P.P.S. In my experience, a receptionist with poor customer service skills isn’t doing 50-80% of her job. For many, she’s the face/voice of the organization and either attracts or repels business (aka money). Since we’ve learned that money reigns supreme there, either re-train her or cut her salary ASAP because she’s costing you easy paychecks...I mean EASY! In response to “the owner”: Your response has effectively communicated that you are more concerned with explaining away a valid complaint instead of working to ensure that no other parent walks away feeling as neglected as I did. That’s unfortunate :’( There is an appropriate way to communicate ANY given information, especially when dealing with concerned parents. There’s absolutely no excuse for being rude. Although you do not own the practice, those who do continue to employ you even though your manners and level of awareness are rock bottom. I applied my review to the practice as a whole, because I was hopeful that the views and unrequested personal opinions that you shared were theirs as well. Otherwise, you should be fired...unless your paperwork game is top tier. Moving around with the military, I’ve dealt with more health professionals and admins than anyone should have to. You are among the worst. P.S. I was able to get the very generic note that we needed from an empathetic practice same day with zero hassle. Many other doctors really do care and take our concerns to heart :D"
"Wait time is ridiculous. An hour after apt time.. still waiting and not in a room. No one does their job there. Dr. Bell is nice and caring but she definitely needs new staff. We will be taking our 3 kids else where now."
"Absolutely love Dr. Bell and staff, office is very clean and not a very long wait time. She answers all our questions and is always very nice and gentle with my 10 month old. The office is pro-vaccination (which I love) so unless there is a medical reason why your children can not receive a vaccine, all patients in the office are vaccinated."
"Love love love this practice. Ok so i have twins and a 2 year old and it's great because she has twins too . She knows more than past pediatricians in regards to breastfeeding . I could ask her 50 questions in one visit she'd have all the answers. Also, I love that she's not one of those pediatricians that literally never help they just say your kid is too young for treatmenttre the rash will go away on it's own or something. She gave me the safest proactive option for all 3 of my babies in one visit."
"I had taken my daughter there after she was born. I am a nursing mother and it hurt me to nurse her. So bad it'd bring me to tears every time and I'm pretty tolerant of pain. My nipples were cracked and bleeding and needed to be fed every 30 minutes to an hour. She wasn't gaining weight. I kept expressing my worry. And she told me that pain was normal and made it my fault that She wasn't gaining weight. It wasn't my fault. I was ready to give up nursing but something was telling me to go see a Lactation Consultant and she said she was lip and tounge tied and that's why she was always sleeping and always hungry and it was so painful to nurse her. I went to a different pediatrician (our current pediatrician whose litteraly just around the corner and we LOVE them) she also said she was tied. We went and got evaluated by a pediatric dentist and he said she was tied as well . We got her revised the next day and all our problems started disappearing. She GAINED 3 pounds within a month after her revision. She nurses like a champ now. And we are very happy at Madison Valley Pediatrics. They are fabulous with my daughter who is now 5 months and had doubled her weight."
