"VP itself is a good place with the exception of a few workers. I used to work for Subway and that Subway I would strongly advise not going to considering that most of the employees that work in the Subway section sales expired meats and produce. The manager Terri does not do what's needed in order to manage the store properly nor does she care for employees when it comes down to respect and making sure that there's no underlying issues. The parking lot is pretty nasty at times, but with the consideration of the way the neighborhood has became....it won't change unless the right management steps in."

"The 3rd shift staff is always rude, the store is always a mess, they never want to be helpful in ANY WAY AT ALL. I've worked customer service for over 15 years & third shift would be fired due to their lack of work ethic $ their lack of just basic people skills. When a customer (me) cleans up your drink station & instead of a thank you, I get to hear about how you haven't had time to do it, you need to be taught manners & since there were only 2 customers in the store at 2:00a.m. I think if there weren't a laziness factor, she would be able to get it done. I will be speaking to a manager. Let's see of they're any better at their job by training their employee that they chose to hire. Hands down the worst gas station on the south-west side simply due to the staff."

"First of all if your on the way to work and need the bathroom while getting gas and breakfast your completely screwed. They have it closed until 8am which is stupid because Lilly's is across the street. The place is always a mess. The parking lot is always trashed. And if you stop in around 1030 the store is closed because the cashier wants to have his whole family in their eating. He flat out told me that his family time is more important than the store being open. Then started a argument with a customer which lead to him telling customer to come back at the end of his shift so they can fight. The lines are always extremely long. Usually there is enough staff but they seem to like to hang around and not help then they wonder why they go through employees like crazy. The 3rd shift older lady is always nasty. She should never have a customer service job! I've never seen such a horrible gas station. I'll continue to take my business to the nice new SPEEDWAY that has a good Cafe and the food is actually good."

"I never have problems with the cashiers. However, on Sunday and again today, I stopped by on my way home. It was around 10:30pm. Door was locked and there was a sign saying they were closed for an hour for shift change. I was disappointed to have to go to a different gas station after a long day."

"Well I love the village pantry for those late night runs! The lady that is always working is very helpful and knows what she is doing & don't tolerate any BS!!!"
