Reviews of United States Postal Service
"I recently shipped a package through their priority mail service, which has added costs then ground shipping(triple the amount). The package was supposed to be delivered on Valentines day, which was two days ago. My Mother still hasn't yet to recieve her Birthday package(2/14) that I was told and paid to have it delivered on her Birthday. I could have paid the regular ground shipping($5) and the package would have already been delivered! But No, I pay three times the amount for a 2 day shipping back on the morning of the 12th, and the package is still in transitsomewhere. This is not acceptable at all. You charge for a service and I expect to recieve that paid service. Absolutely unprofessional, deceptive and manipulative in my books! After reading the reviews on this location of USPS, I guess I'm just overreacting, because atleast my package hadn't been lost like several others I've read about. Robertsdale, AL USPS if you cannot operate in a professional manner, and abide by Your own payment and shipping schedule, then why are your doors still open? Why are your employees still receiving their pay, if they are incompetent with their work performance? Maybe the general manager would chime in with your two cents, on your establishment and its incompetence? In the meantime, I would like a fricken refund!!! Sincerely, YOURS TRULY"
"I am always missing mail and packages. When I call and speak to someone (male) it is always an attitude or an excuse. My daughter refund check from the IRS was listed in inform delivery on 2/6/24 and she still have not received it and no one at the post office could assist. I have had neighbors to bring me packages that was delivered at their address and they live on a completely different street. I am over this post office."
""Delivery attempted, but mailbox was full." The mailbox was empty. I watched on the security cameras as the driver whizzed past the mailbox without even slowing down. Someone just decided to straight-up lie instead of doing their job. I would have went to the post office to pick up myself, but they waited until the exact minute the post office closes to update the deliver status. What do I do about the business I'm losing because of this incompetence? File a civil action?"
"Our local post person is very Rudd. I was waiting for storm cleanup personnel to allow me to drive around him and the postal person came up to my truck and got in my face (without a mask) he starts going off about how he was in a hurry and I needed to pull over and let him go around. There was no room to go around the storm cleanup and other vhehicals were also waiting on the other side to pass as well. He became almost violent as soon as he walked up. I don’t know what is problem is but if he doesn’t like his job maybe he should find another."
"Package has been out for delivery since 8:45am, its 2:30 in the afternoon and still absolutely nothing. This is a constant problem with these people. It doesn't take five hours to drive through robertsdale. Are you on foot?? What are you doing that it takes over five hours to make it ten minutes down the road?"
