"Have not been there since early mid 80's. A friend and I where talking about it. Camp K gets brought up when I talk about the 1981 National Scout Jamboree in Fort A.P. Hill Virginia I attended. So I looked it up to remember exactly where Camp K is located."

"We had a great time! We were in the frontiersman area. They had platforms so you didn't have to worry about tree roots or rocks under your tent. The bathrooms were nice and clean, plenty of soap paper towels and toilet paper. I liked that the bathrooms and showers were singles instead if multi stalls-a lot more privacy."

"As heavily involved in scouts as my son and I are, we've been to lots of scout camps. Krietenstien is among the best in the area. They have an excellent dinning hall that's air conditioned and the shower rooms are really well taken care of. Many of the other structures have been well taken care of and some have recently been rennovated."

"Great Scout camp. Some programs designed to allow boys to earn a number of merit badges in a single week. Staff are all enthusiastic and helpful. Meals are way above average for large camps."
