"They start off real caring but by second week the concern at reception desk is ho him! Had us in early to see a Doctor who then ran an hour behind. Could have taken radiation on time and still waited for Oncologist! Not a “Serve, Care, Heal” but a come early, sit and wait!"
"Where do I start? The surgery was scheduled and the day before we were told they hadn't received clearance from a heart doctor THEY referred us to and they might have to postpone the surgery if the paperwork wasn't received. Considering that was an error on THEIR part and we had already paid an excessive copay they worked diligently to clear that up. That didn't sit well with me. I work on a hospital, those records should have been recieved and reviewed by the MD well before minutes before closing. The care from the doctors and nurse was ok. I was already apprehensive about my dad having his surgery performed here, but that's where his physician referred him. While you wait for your loved ones, you're forced to watch Fox News. When, I asked if it were possible to watch the local news or something less politically slanted, I was told Fox News is the ONLY show they are allowed to show on EVERY TV in outpatient surgery lobby on the third floor. I then asked for the number to guest services or their customer service department and was told, "We don't have that" by one woman. Another woman quickly noted they did have guest service/customer service, but she was unaware of the number. I have never been to a facility where the receptionist were unaware of important numbers related to customer care. I would NEVER use this cancer center and I will advocate that anyone needing cancer services not seek care there. Mobile Infirmary's Cancer center is much more comprehensive with much friendlier and knowledgeable staff."
"Anyone knows the visting hours"
"I use the cancer center because my Dr,, Dr Jeffery George works out of here. I have had the best of care here and the staff is unbeatable. I won't use anybody else."
