Extended Stay America Select Suites - Indianapolis - Greenwood

"I cannot reccommend this place even a little.We only stayed 4 hrs, leaving at 4:00am when I turned on a bathroom light and saw roaches everywhere. This hotel is infested. Had to return home and dry everything in a hot dryer, to kill any possible eggs or bugs that got in our bags while we were out. This is unacceptable. Also, there was a crying puppy, clearly in distress being left alone in a room that we could hear the entire time. This should not be allowed. Shron, the front desk guy was nice enough but clearly didnt care when we mentioned it. Also, our sheets were clearly not washed so we slept in our clothes on top of the bed. Room had clearly not been mopped, bathroom not sanitized. Stay at your own risk. We think border crossers are subsidized and may be staying there at a monthly rate because they have nowhere to go."

"We were never able to check in. We showed up to get a room for the week. There were no employees around. Judging from what I saw just in the parking lot and front office, it's not really a place you want to stay. There was trash all over the parking lot. Several cars that look like they haven't moved in a good amount of time, flat tires, looking broke down. There were several questionable looking characters sitting in their cars. The lobby/desk area had trash all over, and people just hanging out at the desk. I stood waiting, probably 10 minutes before I just walked out."

"We used to enjoy this place. It was a pretty decent hotel as far as extended stays go. Intol late October early November. When the staff changed over so did the ambience. From early November we found out that Donna (the new general manager) has been pocketing money from people, desperate people, and then claiming errors on accounts to get them to pay more money. I myself was charged $400 every 2 days because of this same "error" and told if I did not pay the supposed balance my family would get kicked out. The hotel is FILLED with black mold, and the staff are such horrid people. The only good ones are Michael the maintenance man and Ron the front desk guy. Once we found out they were pocketing our money to make us pay more we ran. Never stay here. Ever. They will steal from you too."

"SUPER LOUD MEGA smoke alarm goes off 5 nights of the week. It takes them 5 minutes minimum to turn it off pretty much every single time. Don't plan on sleeping good. Other than that Miss Donna is doing an excellent job at handling complaints and fixing things where needed. It's not the best hotel I've ever stayed at before but it's better than the 75% thats out there. Gotta give credit where it's due. Things have improved since my original review. Much Respect!"

"Worst nightmarish hotel stay of my life!! Manager was mean as a snake with no hospitality skills for her job. I stayed at the Greenwood, Indiana location. I was overcharged. Room keys RARELY worked because they don’t update their batteries in the door scanning locks! Hotel is non-smoking yet wreaked of marijuana everyday! Take my advice & stay somewhere else…anywhere else! A dumpster would be more to your liking. I reached out to corporate with my concerns and they did NOTHING!"
