Reviews
"My experience was not as astoundingly profound as when I first visited in 2015, but peaceful nonetheless. A different sort of January 6 is commemorated on FDR's quotation board!"
"Wow! Show stopping park. Such a treat to be able to visit this gorgeous memorial to FDR on Roosevelt Island. Be warned: it closes at 5pm on weekdays. It’s worth a special trip though. Tell your boss you have a dr appt and enjoy an afternoon gazing at the nyc skyline from this park. You won’t regret it."
"This park is very well maintained and is suitable for both adults and children. It is a good destination to escape the hustle and bustle of the city as there are tons of space for physical activities, picnic, or just to people watch and doing nothing."
"A beautiful, quiet and serene space where you can see both midtown Manhattan and Long Island City. The views of the skyline, the river and all of the cool boats, planes and helicopters passing by are a photographer’s dream!"
"Located at the southern top of Roosevelt Island, the FDR Four Freedoms Park is a breathtaking place to visit. I highly recommend taking the tram from the Upper East Side and walking down to the Four Freedoms Park. The Manhattan side views are spectacular, as are the Queens side views (minus the power plant). The views looking south down the East River are also spectacular. Just pay attention to the hours of operation, but a visit to the park is time we'll spent; it's breathtaking."
