Reviews of Alabama Oncology
"Yes the wait time is long but I like to think it's because they are taking time with their patients. I've never felt rushed while speaking with the doctors."
"No respect for patients time. Over an hour after my scheduled appt time. No I’m sorry, No FU not a word. I’ll die before I waste my life away waiting on a doctor that doesn’t care about people. Just plain rude. Avoid at all costs"
"I have no idea why this clinic has such bad reviews. I’ve had a really good experience with Dr. Innis-Shelton & the entire office staff. Yes, they are all overwhelmed and overworked, but they still care deeply for their patients and we really appreciate that!!"
"Slow slow slow! I'm currently looking for a new Hematologist! I've been a patient of Dr Shelton the hematologist there for almost a year and every single time I go for an appt I'm waiting in the front over an hour.. After that hour I get called back to a room and wait another 45 mins and that's a compliment because usually it's longer. My appts are over 2 hours total and all I'm going for is a 2 min lab/blood draw and to meet with the doc for a questionnaire to check in on my iron which only takes 5 mins. It's frustrating because they over-book patients and have us waiting extremely long. It's hard to reach someone at the appointment desk, no one picks up sometimes Not ok."
"Service was fine...due to a financial error on the part of Alabama Oncology I was charged for my medication when my out of pocket should have been at the most $50.00. Instead I was billed the total $3750.00, ,which you might think they would have been more remorseful and helpful. They were not."
