"There really should be a way to give ZERO stars since some businesses don't deserve any. Handy Jack was assigned to my Home Warranty of America service claim back in May (2022). Ezra did come on the assigned appointment date of June 7, 2022, assessed the plumbing issues, gave my sister that info, collected a check for the $100 service call fee, and that was the last time we saw him. He did cash that check though! Just about two weeks ago I was finally able to reach him and had to remind him that he was supposed to be completing plumbing work. This man went on to say he would call HWA to check on the progress of the claim and made a "promise" to get back to me. Not only did he never call or text me back, according to HWA he NEVER SUBMITTED his diagnosis! I called to check on the claim with HWA (who I will be reviewing next) last Monday, July 11th. I am currently on hold with HWA as their only remedy is to reassign the claim (AGAIN making this attempt #3) and waiving the service call fee since one has already been paid. So basically, Ezra just walked away with gas money, no explanation, and DEFINITELY no apology. He ALSO did something to the kitchen faucet. Even though the hot waterline wasn't properly connected, when the handle was turned to that position, water would still flow. He made it where now no water flows when the faucet is in the hot water position! So, he left it in worse condition than it was when he arrived! I'm VERY disappointed to say the least and I do NOT recommend this company. I've personally requested that HWA discontinue their partnership with Handy Jack Solutions LLC. My next step is reporting this situation to the BBB of America. UPDATE: May 15, 2023. In reply to the response to this review supposedly given but the "owner" of the business, I am well aware of the process for filing an HWA claim and having the fee collected and the person who answered the service call contacting the company with the results of their analysis of the problem. Without re-reading my review, in case I did not mention this, YOU NEVER CONTACTED HWA! When I talked to you (Ezra) on the phone after you finally answered after not replying to texts or voicemails, you said you would contact HWA to 'see what the issue or hold up is' and would get back to me. "I promise" is what you said which should have been a red flag. You never did. So you basically collected a free meal for two and a tip from us."

He goes out of the way to make sure everything is what the client wanted, before payment and he a pleasure to be around. "Please do not hire to paint your house. No cleaning up after themselves and don’t cover your items properly. They don’t use tape and leave corners and edges unpainted. Not professional painters!"

He came down a little bit on his price for additional flooring and the attention to detail and respect to my furniture and property was great"
