"Your schools are terrible. Trashy school and all the staff has turned their heads to the young boy in this video was getting physically assaulted by his classmates. Its only a matter of time before there is a shooting that happens at that school due to the increase of bullying. TO ALL THE READERS, IF YOU HAVE A CHILD, PLEASE DONT SEND HIM TO THIS TRASHY ASS SCHOOL. You are better off Homeschooling your kids. The schools always punish the Victims of bullying when he stands up to his bullies. I HOPE THIS SCHOOL GETS SHUT DOWN BY THE PARENTS OF "Drew Breton". He deserves to have loving people who are supportive and who will stand up for him."

"I am a fifth grader and Eill be attending Semmes Middle Next year! I decided to leave a review based off of what I’ve expersienced and my older sister (A Student there). #1 Why go to a Magnet School? Semmes Has Asvanced Classes that offer as much as any Magnet school. And I’ve heard of the bullying problems but the school takes it very seriously and they try their best but I don’t think anybody can change a person. A person changes themselves. Bullies need to understand that what they do is wrong and they clearly know it! This is an amazing school And I Hope if you plan on going to this school or have a child going here or soon to be I hope they have everythingg they’ve ever wanted when they start! I hope to see Woth my own eyes the amazing ness of this school"

"I went here from 6th to 8th grade. My experience here was not too good. Loved the Teachers, but the Administration was not helpful. But, I enjoyed my friends I made here. But, my brother gets bullied by random kids everyday, has dropping grades, and learning disabilities.The school is not helping him! The school today was more worried about him having a phone out in Homeroom than his grades and bullying problems he has had ALL YEAR! It would be best to send your child to Clark Shaw, they have way better reviews than this place."

"If I could give it a 0/0 I would. This school is the biggest joke. They care more about your uniform than your education. The adults pick on the kids and rein terror on their grades with uniform related issues. I remember being pulled out of my Algebra class (my worst subject) because I wasn't wearing a belt. I don't wear belts, I've never worn belts. They had way too many kids in that school, they kept bringing over kids from Prichard which in turn made the school worse. The bathrooms are ALWAYS FILTHY, the janitors have to sell pizza and icecream to be able to afford cleaning supplies. There are too many kids in the classes, not enough books. The administrators are super uneducated, backwards, morons. Semmes Middle School and Mary G. Montgomery pretty much took away the years of learning I was supposed to be getting. Instead I got anxiety, bullying, and not to mention the teachers didn't even have enough time in the school year to teach all of the lessons they were supposed to teach in their lesson planner, so we would literally have to skip learning important subjects because MOBILE COUNTY PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEM fails to provide their schools with the money/materials they need. Instead they pay the administrators who are responsible for this trainwreck TOP$$$ and all they do is sit in their desks and make money and do absolutely nothing else but the environment for the children absolutely HORRIBLE AND MISERABLE to the point that they had a 43% DROP OUT RATE. All of the administrators who were present from 2007-2012 in Semmes Middle School I believe should be in jail or fined, and not to mention they had BROUGHT BACK Mr. Tillman who was previously fired from the same job at Semmes because he was caught having sex with an 8th grader, but they brought him right back. DON'T SEND YOUR KID TO SCHOOL HERE, THEIR LIVES WILL BE GREATLY AFFECTED AND THEIR EDUCATION WILL BE POOR AND MEDIOCRE"

"I'm currently a freshman at nearby Mary G Montgomery. Semmes is a horrible school. I hated it. I was bullied many times, yet when I went to the vice principal about it, he did nothing. I went to the principal about it, she did nothing. I had to get my parents to talk to the Mobile County School Board, just to make them stop the bullying. The kids who were bullying me only got suspended for a week. When they came back, the bullying resumed. When I was at the school, I swear I'm not lying, there were fights everyday. Kids were rude to the teachers. They skipped. The teachers did nothing to help the kids who were struggling. I beg you, don't send your children to this school."
